I have a busy schedule, is Grand Rapids Fitness flexible?

We are Full time trainers so we are flexible and can train when its convenient for you.
You could hire part time trainers but why would you?

Does Grand Rapids Fitness do in home training?

I workout at a regular “big box” gym, can Grand Rapids Fitness
train me there?

No, we do not currently have any agreements with any of the local gyms in the area. We have everything you need to get you into shape.

I dont want to bulk up, will lifting weights bulk me up?

Not if that isn’t your goal. Weight training will increase muscle size to meet the demand of the stress being placed on the muscle. However, you will not look like a bodybuilder. Muscle burns calories, tones and shapes the body.

I only eat 2-3 times a day why can’t I lose weight?

You are actually causing the body to hold extra bodyfat by not eating enough! You must feed the body QUALITY NUTRIENTS on a consistent basis everyday to lose bodyfat, elevate energy and feel better. You should strive for 5-6 meals a day to keep your metabolism operating at a higher rate.

How long before I start to get results?

You will start to change almost immediately on the inside as your body’s metabolic processes adapt to the changes brought on by exercise. You will feel the changes before you start to notice them on the outside. You can expect to notice subtle changes in about 4 -6 weeks, others will start to notice in 6-8 weeks and dramatic changes will occur in 10-12 weeks.

What qualifications does Grand Rapids Fitness have?

All of our trainers are either Nationally Certified, hold a degree in the field of exercise science or are accomplished in the fitness industry. You should search for trainers who are Nationally Certified and/or have a degree​ in a related field. Also once you find a trainer, ask for testimonials from past and current clients to make sure that they will meet your needs.

What else does Grand Rapids Fitness offer besides
personal training?

While personal training is our bread and butter we do offer weight loss programming, meal planning, online training, competition prep, and photo shoot prep.
